Day 1: BODRUM
We meet in Bodrum Harbour at 15:30. Our boat will remain anchored in Bodrum Port for dinner and we will stay in the port overnight. Bodrum’s history goes back to the 12th century B.C. Bodrum was previously called ’Halicarnassus’ and was the birthplace of Herodotus; the ’Father of History’ who lived in the 5th century B.C. The ’Mausoleum’ of King Mausolus (350 B.C.), one of the Seven Wonders of the World, is in Bodrum if you get the chance take a look around. The amphitheater which is the only structure that survived from the Classical Era is one of the oldest theatres in Anatolia It has a capacity of 13.000 guests and it is still hosting many shows and concerts for the art-lovers of Bodrum. The ’Castle of Saint Peter’ is the landmark of the city, and one of the best-preserved pieces of architecture with a history dating back to the Middle Ages. Alexander the Great entered Halicarnassus through ’Myndos Gate’ and is another place that you should not miss.
Day 2: ORAK ISLAND – COKERTME
After breakfast, the rep will give information about the cruise itinerary and the boat. Our first stop will be at Orak Island. At Orak Island you will have the opportunity to swim in the crystal-blue waters and enjoy lunch. Following lunch, we will sail to Cokertme. This is a small and picturesque fishing town, where you are welcome to go ashore. We will stay here for dinner and overnight. Depending on the weather conditions it may be possible to raise the sails on the way.
Day 3: SEVEN ISLANDS (KUFRE / UZUN LIMAN -LONG PORT) - ENGLISH HARBOUR
Early the next morning, before breakfast, we will cruise to Seven Islands. You will have another excellent day in the Seven Islands Region. This area is full of many small islands and coral reef; it is the ideal place to dive, swim, sleep and rest. When you tire of swimming go ashore for a walk in the pine forests. Kufre Bay is our first stop in Seven Islands Region. The next stop we will be anchoring at Uzun Liman (Long Port). Afterward, we will cruise to English Port for dinner and an overnight stay. The name English Port comes from the time of 2nd World War as the ships of British Navy forces used to dock here. In this area, there are so many small and large bays which are suitable and sheltered enough to anchor for the boats.
Day 4: CLEOPATRA ISLAND – KARACASOGUT
Our first stop today will be at Sedir (Cedrae) Island. This island is unique with its small beach and unbelievable clear water are similar to an open-air museum. Amongst the ruins, you can see the city walls, the temple from the time of Dorians’ reign (later restored as a church), the amphitheater with a capacity for 1500 guests and some vaulted historical buildings. As you walk around look out for the wrecks of pillars with antique writings on them or the ancient stones decorated with reliefs. Cleopatra Beach which is located on this island has a very special kind of sand that can only be found in the deserts of Northern Africa. According to legend, King Antonius brought the sand from Egypt via sea for Cleopatra. Our next stop will be at Karacasogut village for dinner and we will spend the night there. This lovely village is located 25 km away from Marmaris and it is possible to visit Marmaris via ’dolmus’(minibusses). We can also arrange an optional tour to Dalyan - Kaunos.
Day 5: LONGOZ - TUZLA
It will not take long before a morning swim becomes a part of your daily activities. In time for lunch, our captain will cruise to Longoz Bay. Longoz Bay is another place which is like paradise, it is sheltered with huge pine forests. Following lunch, why not enjoy a short walk in the forest and have a well-earned drink in Ali Baba’s local shed-like cafe.
Our final stop of the day the gulet will be anchoring at Tuzla Bay where you can enjoy a swimming break in the turquoise-blue waters. Dinner and overnight stay at Tuzla.
Day 6: KARGILI - KISEBUKU (ALAKISLA BUKU)
Early in the morning, we will cruise to Kargili Bay (Molla Ibrahim Bay). After lunch, we will move onto Kisebuku (Alakisla Buku). Here you can see the ruins of Byzantines. Tonight we will stop in this lovely bay.
Day 7: PABUCBURNU - YALICIFTLIK – BODRUM
Following breakfast, we will sail to Pabucburnu. Lunch wşll also be served here. Yaliciftlik Bay is our location for tea. An optional village tour can be arranged from this bay for those who wish to experience the local life. The last dinner and overnight stay will be in Bodrum Port.
Day 8: BODRUM
After breakfast, all guests will leave the boat with precious memories of their Blue Cruise.
Prices are given in EURO. Prices quoted are per person on the basis of two people sharing a double cabin. An additional single supplement of 70% will be charged for those staying in a single cabin. Towels are not provided on board.
